Undergraduate Students’ Perceptions towards the Process of Writing

<p><em>Writing process has been proven to be an effective approach enhance students’ writing performance. The consists of pre-writing, drafting, revising, and editing. aids the students in developing ideas while writing, but it was claimed that also face challenges during process. Therefore, this current study aimed investigate perceptions challenges. subjects taken were first-year English Educational program at State University Malang, which 31 IC Writing Class chosen. investigated through a survey by distributing online questionnaires via Google Form. questionnaire divided into four aspects; editing, exploring its findings showed experienced difficulties most challenging stages they had pre-writing revising stage. faced generating structuring ideas, respectively. Meanwhile, drafting editing less since followed preceding Nonetheless, believed proofreading complex results will beneficial for teachers future researchers vary teaching methodology reflect better analysis. </em></p>
